Our medical staff seeks to share information with their patients/residents in a way that is honest and compassionate. Once they have helped a family to determine if hospice is the most appropriate strategy, they make it their goal to implement the most effective means of pain management and symptom control available.

Avalon Hospice's patients/residents are welcome to continue receiving medical visits from their family physician, but our physicians will remain on-call in the event that a patient/resident's physician is not available.

Our medical staff is available 24 hours a day, and they work closely with the nursing staff and all other team members to ensure that patients/residents receive the most well rounded care available.
